Drifter was beautiful beyond belief. We should have kept him! He was a joy to own and he would have been a tremendous asset to our breeding program. But instead we decided to share our good fortune and exported Drifter to Australia, where he sired champion offspring and passed his beauty, wonderful personality, and genetic quality to the Collies Downunder.

Drifter has many champion descendents. Our loss was Australia's gain, but we still miss our gentle, elegant Collie dog in the glorious clear blue coat.

We are so fortunate that a repeat breeding of Drifter's parents gave us Drifter's younger brother, Rainshade Gamut Warning ("Max"), who sired numerous gorgeous litters for us. We had the wisdom to store Max's semen and have already produced several litters from him by frozen semen.

Drifter's pedigree is the same as the pedigree of Rainshade Gamut Warning, his full brother.
