Drifter was beautiful beyond belief. We should have kept him because he was a joy to own and he would have been a tremendous asset to our breeding program. But instead we decided to share our good fortune and exported Drifter to Australia, where he sired champion offspring and passed his good looks and good genes on to the Collies Downunder.

Drifter has many descendents, some on their way to their

Australian titles. Our loss was Australia's gain, but we still miss our gentle, elegant Collie dog in the glorious blue coat.

We are fortunate that a repeat breeding of Drifter's parents gave us Drifter's younger brother, Rainshade Gamut Warning ("Max"), who is still with us here at Rainshade Collies and who has sired numerous litters for us.

Drifter's pedigree is the same as the pedigree of Rainshade Gamut Warning, his full brother.
