Grace is the fourth straight generation of puppies conceived from frozen semen on her sire's side, here at Rainshade Collies. News! We received a note from Grace's family on 10/17/2010:
Grace is fine - she has a new trainer and we are enjoying her progress. She qualified for the advanced class, and she gets along beautifully with all the other dogs and owners. We take her everywhere, and you wouldn't believe how many MEN stop their cars and trucks and walk up to us and tell us that we have the most gorgeous dog they've ever seen! Women of course comment openly about her to us too, but men from every walk of life - executives, athletes, and truck drivers who pull over 53 foot long trucks to come look at Grace, slack-jawed, it's really something! Men melting at a collie! Our Grace is a true regal princess- she takes it all in stride...she is our pride and joy.
Grace is SO SMART - she keeps us on our toes! She enjoys her bike rides and going to Elizabeth Park for "socialization walks" and she is turning into quite the search dog - she will locate anything we hide, and when she wants more food, she will gently poke Mommy or Daddy and start to lead the way into the kitchen, looking back to make sure we're following. She will walk to the fridge, sit down in front of it, and poke the door gently, then look at us. Amazing! If she wants to show us something, she will poke us gently - we'll say "Show me" and she'll lead us to what we should know about - usually this is a rabbit or squirrel or she can't reach a toy and needs our help to get it for her but she is so intelligent... Of course she is! She is a Rainshade Collie! She loves to cuddle in Daddy's arms when he gets on the floor to play with her. Well, she is certainly spoiled. She's got us wrapped around her little paws. We simply adore her.

We are truly amazed at how soon Logan began bonding with us and how all the attributes you mentioned are spot on. On a recent "work from home day", Logan insisted on keeping me company in my office. He is such a gentle giant. It is amazing how loving he is! There is definitely something about Logan that makes our whole house peaceful! Logan is not only a gentleman, he is noble.
