Tess’s story is one of miracles! Her story is also a very happy one! Tess was conceived from frozen semen stored 14 years!  She had the good fortune to join her Collie cousin/aunt Mandi (Rainshade Shadows and Light) and to live with Arlene Starkey. Mandi helped Tess learn how to be working Collie extraordinaire and Tess received all the training and love any Collie could ever want.

Tess lives a very active, exciting, and athletic lifestyle. Her life is filled with sheep herding, fun, and love.  Together Tess and Mandi make a beautiful Collie pair that are magical to watch—and love.

Tess loves being an ambassador for her breed, proving to the world that Collies are indeed the perfect canines, well-socialized, well-behaved, stunningly gorgeous, and highly intelligent.

Thank you  so much, Arlene Starkey— Tess’s owner, for dedicating so much time to Tess and to Rainshade Shadows and Light (Mandi), and giving them both a wonderful home filled with love. Your love and training has brought out the best in these two Collies. Thank you also for sharing your photos of Mandi and Tess and allowing us to display them on our website.
